Welcome to my website! I am an independently published author who writes children's books as Caroline J. Trussell and darker, adult content as Jeannette Lane. I specialize in horror, thriller, and fantasy. My background is in manuscript evaluation and publishing practices and I am a former literary agent.

​My most recent work is my YA speculative fiction fantasy, ENHANCED, which comes out with Fire & Ice YA Books in August 2025, and I am actively working on multiple manuscripts, including a speculative horror with dark academia elements titled AN OFFER SO GRAVE.
