Welcome to my website! I am an independently published author who writes children's books as Caroline J. Trussell and darker, adult content as Jeannette Lane. I specialize in fantasy, thriller and horror. My background is in manuscript evaluation and publishing practices.

​My most recent work is my YA speculative fiction fantasy, ENHANCED, which comes out with Fire & Ice YA Books in July 2025, and I am actively working on multiple manuscripts, including a dark academia fantasy with horror elements titled AN OFFER SO GRAVE.
